Our first Featured Bride is Stephanie L. Stephanie and Brian were married at the Bedford Villiage Inn on New Years Eve!
It was an honor for me to work with this couple and their wedding was just magical. Thank you both for letting us be a part of your special day!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience in finding a florist for your wedding!

"I started planning our wedding a little over a year in advance, with a wedding date of December 31, 2011. It was important for me to find vendors that were personable, and understood my style for the wedding. After looking online for vendors I decided to go to a wedding expo to see vendors up close and personal.  This is where I met the fabulous Brad Harrington. His display and style immediately caught my eye. I was drawn to his uniqueness and passion for flowers. After having a conversation with Brad and getting to know a little about him, I decided he was perfect for our wedding. I set up a meeting with Brad by giving him a phone call. He was quick to answer and was able to provide me with a plethora of dates he could meet with me. This was very helpful considering my busy schedule.

My first meeting with Brad was easy, efficient, and exciting. He asked me several questions about the wedding, my visions, colors, my dress, etc. He did not just record these answers on a piece of paper, but was genuinely interested in learning about both the bride and groom.  He also explained how he would be hand picking our flowers and if they were not up to his potential he would send me a picture to see if I still wanted them, or find a comparable and send me a picture…talk about dedication! Using flowers that we loved, he was able to draft up bouquets, table arrangements, and boutonnières I never could have imagined.  Our wedding was based around white and soft greens with lots of diamonds. Brad introduced me to flowers that I will never forget. I was also on a tight budget, so Brad was able to help me find ways to save and made some wonderful recommendations. He met with me several times before the wedding to go over details and check in.  Whenever I needed to ask a question he was always available and quick to answer. A few days prior to the wedding Brad called to tell me he was going to hand pick the flowers for the wedding; this was the most exciting part! He even called to let me know he was able to purchase every flower I wanted.

The day before our wedding I stopped into Brad’s shop and was AMAZED! He was working on our flowers. We ended up ordering a bridal bouquet, two Maid of honor bouquets, three bridesmaids’ bouquets, 8 boutonnières, 2 mothers bracelets, 2 grandmother pin on’s, 13 table arrangements, and two pillars for the ceremony. They were above and beyond anything I had imagined. This was when I truly felt like my wedding was there and I was beyond excited. Brad wanted me to make sure I liked everything and it was perfect for our big day.

The day of the wedding Brad arrived several hours early. He took care of placing all of the flowers in the appropriate places, made sure my tables were perfect, had name tags on every floral arrangement that was being passed out. There was nothing to worry about because Brad had everything taken care of. Walking down the aisle and looking at all the flowers was an image I will never forget. Brad arranged with the venue to pick up and break down the pillars, and I had nothing at all to worry about. I dried out my bouquet and I look at it every single day! Not only is Brad very easy to work with and talented, but he made my experience enjoyable and exciting. It was important to find a florist with talent, dedication, and a willingness to spend time with their clients; and that’s exactly what I was able to find."
